VENÍS – The Concept

 

The essence of VENÍS is formed by the extreme opposites of Icelandic nature, combined with the oriental Yin Yang (阴阳) Philosophy and Wu Xing (五行) theory.

 

 

VEN + ÍS

 

Our name alludes to the second planet of the solar system Venus, who is also according to the ancient roman beliefs the goddess of love, beauty and prosperity. Ís which is the suffix of the name means ice in icelandic,

and references the land of fire and ice, where our products are made.

 

The name is also chinese for golden star.

 

In asian culture the belief of the natural order of things in accordance to the five different elements which frame our existence is held dear, our products possess the harmonic relationship (Xiang Sheng 相生) of the elements gold (金jīn) and

water (水shuǐ).

 

VENÍS and the products at its core is a testament to the theory of how opposites not only attract,

but how they complement each other and bring out the best features in harmony.

Our logo is a fusion of the symbol of Yin Yang balance concept and the five elements. It represents a healthy well-balanced lifestyle, symbolizes the meaning of natural qualities, a pure living environment, power, harmony, love and passion; with elemental interaction of gold and water it creates a harmonic balance of tranquility and health, and a symbolism of beauty, vitality, a passion for life and love and a perfect union.
